Terms + Conditions

Hey there! These are my terms and conditions for commissions. By placing a commission with me, you agree to the following:

My Rights as an Artist

  1. I retain the copyright and the intellectual rights of the artwork

  2. I may refuse any commission request without providing reasoning

  3. I may alter the prices of my artwork/designs and create or withhold certain commission types

  4. If I cannot complete a commission you will receive full refund if I have not already started your commission. According to the percentage of art/design I have completed I will deduct from this refund.

  5. I may use my own art/designs (ie, for advertising commissions and portfolio work)

  6. I maintain the right to charge extra on commissions for commercial use

Your Rights as the Client

  1. You may use your commissioned art/character for private use

  2. You may cancel your commission before payment. No refunds will be given after the sketch is approved unless I am unable to complete the commission due to external causes.

  3. You may request for two alterations during the sketch process.

  4. Additional changes may be made at further cost.

  5. You may receive a WIP (Work in Progress) of your commission on request. (One will always be sent to you during sketching)

  6. You may inquire about any other questions not answered here

  7. You may repost/upload your commission but you must always give credit to me as the artist with a link to my most applicable social media.

  8. You can in no way resell or make a profit from my art.

  9. You can not claim the work as your own.

  10. You can not edit my art without my permission.

  11. You can not remove my signature.

  12. You can not trace my art.

  13. You can not use my art with or for AI.

Custom Designs and Adoptables

  1. You can create, commission, or receive art of the designed character

  2. You can alter the design as long as I am still credited for the original design

  3. You can sell/gift/trade the design as long as it is not sold for more than you brought it for (unless sold for the value of additional art)

Payment

  1. A minimum of 50% of the commission price must be paid upfront before any work is commenced

  2. Full payment must be completed after sketch is approved.

  3. Payment is taken in USD through PayPal. I will dm you my paypal details for you to send funds. All prices are listed in USD.

Extra Fees and Charges

  1. When receiving a commission I hold the right to increase the price of a commission depending on the design or the character's complexity.

What makes a commission complex?

  • Feathers, unique markings, additional limbs, accessories, layered outfits, complex scale patterns

  • Complicated colour schemes, luminescent body parts or accessories, glowing features

  • Thick foliage, unnatural landscapes, urban landscapes

  • Multiple characters, companions, or forms

  • Heavily detailed elements, or requests

Difficult Content

  1. The pricing of a commission may also vary if the commission includes characters or content that I find difficult to draw. This is because I have not had a lot of experience with these.
